Tom Hicks Baseball Camps (THBC) originated in Long Beach in 1989. Since the camps inception, THBC has been attended by well over 40,000 campers. THBC has utilized both Millikan and Lakewood High Schools; Bancroft and Stanford Middle Schools; Cottonwood Church; and Heartwell Park, as well as other locations within the State of California. The Long Beach camp site for Tom Hicks Baseball Camps is directed by Tom Hicks.
THBC is a camp that focuses on teaching individual baseball techniques at age appropriate levels. Each camper is guaranteed exposure to the proper way the game of baseball should be played.
THBC will teach your child correct hitting, fielding, pitching, baserunning fundamentals and much more. Your child will be provided the opportunity to practice these fundamentals each day in camp with individualized supervision of our trained and experienced coaches. Each day in camp your child will participate in an actual game with another team in camp, which will afford them the opportunity to refine and polish their skills in game situations.
At the conclusion of each weekly session of camp, your child will receive an individualized written evaluation by his or her instructor/coach.
